Been using Data on Call for a few months now... very easy and lots of different options. I've changed plans a few times as my business is growing. I really like having a tollfree number and being able to access faxes on their site in addition to email. Online reports are ok. Online SENT folder is great. The one time I had a problem (my fault) I was able to get pretty quick personal help.

There is never a live person at their phone support service, you have to leave a message.
They have never returned a reply to any of my e-mails.
I don't even know how to get the service cancelled.

Cancel your credit card, or give them (card company) a call and let them know you no longer authorize charges from this company (data on crap). problem solved
Press Release: j2 Global Acquires Data On Call Assets
LOS ANGELES, July 6, 2005 - j2 today announced that it has acquired the assets of Data On Call, LLC. The key assets include the UniFax brand and its subscriber base, as well as the technology to provide features such as dynamic delivery options via FTP, Web-post with XML, and barcode data capture.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed and the financial impact to j2 Global is immaterial.
I tried to sign up for free offer, the email never sends no matter how much I resend it, and can't contact anyone. You know the service sucks when you can't even sign up!
