International numbers
Hello,
I am looking for Internet fax providers other than Efax which offer international fax numbers.
Thank you for your help.
Jul Hi,This really depends on the countries for which you need coverage, but here are a few international internet fax providers and the countries in which they offer inbound service:
Xpedite fax2mail - US, UK
MaxEmail - US, Japan
InterFAX - US, UK, Germany, Japan, Israel
Venali - Their web site states "local and toll-free in-bound fax number area codes are available in hundreds of US and European cities" but doesn't detail where.
Protus MyFax - US, Canada
My name is Frank Rindos, and I work for Xpedite. I would be more than happy to help anyone out who has questions on any Fax services.
Our Fax2Mail service is really effective, and easy to use.
Let me know how I can help.
Thanks
Frank Rindos, Xpedite

Jul,
If you're in Australia we have just launched the beta trial of our new fax service. It's currently completely free to receive faxes.
When you sign up you'll get a Sydney fax number (more coming soon) and can specify up to 5 email addresses to have faxes delivered to. There's also a web interface for managing your faxes and account.
For more details visit http://www.faxonline.com.au
Try www.ozefax.com.au if you are seeking numbers across the larger part of Australia (all main cities and a number of local areas).
Try our new Personal Fax service if your local in Canada.
We've switched a lot of efax users over to our service and they are very happy - high performance internet faxing.
PDF or TIFF.
Unlimited faxes - we do not charge on a per page basis.
contact for more details.
Is the number assigned to Fax2Mail services can be used as a normal telephone number. e.g. Is the new assigned number for f2m is a physical real line to used as telephone line also. Or if existing line is ported will it be still used as ordinary phone line receiveing and making calls from that line ?
please advise.
Thanks

Blue Kay Hi,
While the number is a "real" telephone number, it is only assigned to the faxing service and not to you. You cannot use it as an inbound numbers to receive calls on or as an outbound number to place calls from.
The new xifax service has numbers in over 25 countries available. I been part of the beta program and so far looks very solid service. Worth looking out for.
I am trying to find an Efax service to use for my business in France, just checked out Xifax.com having seen it mentioned here, has anyone had any more experiences with their set up, reliability, customer service etc. I have read a lot of negative press re Efax.com so am not keen to join them but there does not seem to be much choice in providers with French lines/numbers. Has anyone got any other suggestions?
