FaxMicro

:( I thought I would let everyone know. I've sent numerous emails to support at FaxMicro as requested by their computer generated emails to me. The sole response I received is a computer generated email that doesn't respond to the content of my emails to support. Actually, that's not fully correct: I receved the same email 6 times today from them. There doesn't seem to be anyone home!

One other interesting note: they sent me an invoice by email which permitted me to pay for their service by check. Since I would like to pay for the full year in advance, I liked the idea. The email didn't include an address to send the money. When I sent an email requesting the address, guess what? No response.

Perhaps I should address my email to mom&pop@faxmicro instead of support, since they seem to be just a mom and pop kind of shop.

Faxmicro has their own chat support and you can ask their support agents to give you a call back. There's so many emails filtered by email servers... 2 cents.

faxmicro live chat is useless... I think there is prbly just a trained monkey at the other end cutting and pasting responses.
I'm cancelling faxmicro after 4 months of service because almost every fax I receive is completely unreadable. It used to be about 1 in 30, but now 4 out of 5 bad faxes.
The service may be cheaper than efax, but is completely useless if I can't receive faxes reliably.

Some chat agents are better than others. I spoke to Carrie and Charisse recently and they seemed to know what they were talking about. I was able to get a call back because I think there was something wrong with my fax driver. It worked well after I downloaded again and one of there support people guided me through the set up.
