interfax strange problem

I had been an interfax.com user for a long time I got very strange problem with them , last months some faxes had very long duration "900 seconds for just 2 or 3 pages " in some destinations although this faxes contain photos but it doesn't make sense to took that long duration . my clients complaining that they can send that faxes over PSTN with lower prices , I asked interfax to solve the problem but they didn't , is there any body can help ?
Does interfax offer a setting to decrease the resolution on sent faxes? What we find with our service is that photos can tend to become very large (in terms of amount of data to transmit) when rendered by our software unless the resolution is deliberately set down on our end. Could be you're running into a similar issue with your provider. Mileage may vary, but it might be worth asking them about.
