Need a new Fax company!!! Someone NOT looking to get bought out by fax.com
I was with myfax.com.
Had a sweet deal with them Unlimited incoming and outgoing. $12.95 a month.
Now, fax.com bought them... Now I have a total of 1000 pages either incoming or outgoing for the same exact price. WTF???
I have decided to use my Vonage Services for my outgoing faxes in the future... It's Free and unlimited. Not the vonage phone line but a service they offer with it.
But I need an UNLIMITED incoming Fax provider I can TRUST that isn't going to change gears and rape me later. I'd like a toll free number or a Lake County Florida 352 Area Code Number (Not Gainesville, FL -- I need near Leesburg, FL) I have a number currently at myfax (Doubt they'll let me port it... they seem to be scumbags.) So I'll have to get a new one.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Dave
Dave, Local Number portability is a legal requirement in the USA. However, it's a complex process. The Level 3 LNP guide is an inch and a half thick. With CallWave being bought out by efax the options are numbered. mBox is an internet fax to email service provider but they don't do porting in of fax numbers...
cheers,
Craig
What makes you think that fax.com bought myfax.com?
Finding an unlimited incoming fax provider is going to be tough. I use FAXCOM Anywhere with a toll free number for my fax provider. Private company, doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Check them out... www.faxcomanywhere.com
Have you ever tried Popfax.com? It's a reliable internet fax service, it work worldwide and with the code 0802198408021984 you can have 20% discount for subscription. I'm using it and it seems to be a very good service.
You should Check out packetel they offer unlimited fax service for $3.95/m or if you prepay for 2 years it comes out to be $3.65/m.
I was a callwave customer and my account was transferred to efax and my unlimited incoming faxes were taken away when efax took over. So I am desperately looking to switch myself. The only draw back with Packetel is that you can't port your fax number into their service.
I think what I will do is sign up for packetel service and start phasing out of my old fax number that is now with efax and eventually cancel the service with efax.
Go with Popfax.com Internet fax Service and have free and unlimited incoming faxes during hole year.
Dave, check out Onesuite Fax services. I don't think they will be bought out soon because they're been in the business for 10 years I guess.
Here's the link to their online fax services -> http://www.onesuite.com/products_OneSuiteFax.asp
