Below is what I have found on my research of internet fax providers
E-Fax- $12.95mo, $12.95 set up fee. Gives you a local fax number. Sending- $0.10 per page; Recieving- Free (if you read customer agreement, states you shouldn't recieve more than 300 pages). Currently offering 30 day free trial
Ring Central- Profesional package- $14.99mo for 100 mins; Pro Plus- $20.99mo for 500 mins; also have you more- I think 1000 mins, didn't quote price(sorry, was more than I was looking for). Charge a one-time set up fee of $15 for a toll free number. Also offer voicemail services and call forwarding. Currently offering 7 day free trial.
My Fax- $10mo, $10 set up fee. 1st 50 incoming pages are free, $0.10 per page thereafter. $0.10 per page for sending. Currently offering 1 month free trial.
DocuHarbor- Lite- $9.95mo for 30 mins, 10MB(mega bytes) of storage; Silver- $19.95mo for 75 mins, 20MB of storage; Gold- $29.95mo for 175 mins, 40MB of storage; You can add mins to any plan at $2 per 20 mins, per month. Incoming local faxes do not count towards minutes. Add on minutes roll over to the next month. Currently offering 30 day free trial.
Onebox- Onebox Fax- $9.95mo for 100 mins, 10MB of storage, includes individual toll free number; Onebox Enhanced- $12.95mo for 100 mins, 25MB of storage, ind toll free number, e-mail account, voicemail, notifications, text-to-speech(listen to your e-mails on your phone), contact list, to-do calender; Onebox Plus- $14.95mo for 100 mins, has everrything the Enhanced package has plus- find me follow me(I think this is call forwarding) and call screening. Currently offering 30 day free trial.
Packetel- 3mo pFax service for $11.85($3.95 per month). Can only recieve incoming faxes with this service; cannot send faxes.
Data On Call- $9.95 set up fee, $9.95mo for 100 pages(sending or recieving); $29.95 set up fee, $29.95mo for 325 pages; $59.95 set up fee, $59.95mo for 750 pages.
Pincity.com- Currently offering promotion of $0.039 per page until 6/30/04; will most more than likely go to $0.06-0.07 per page after.
I haven't done any research on the others mentioned in posts. If anyone has used or is currently using one of the providers I have mentioned, please provide some feedback.

Thanks for your research! We have recently moved the one "internet fax providers" topic into a separate forum, so I've copied your remarks under each individual provider.
I have packetel.com service. While i have no complains about getting my faxes and its cheap, what I find most annoying is the slew of promotional items (usually 1 FULL PAGE) of packetel.com services that are embedded in EACH email. Unlike other fax services like efax or myfax (I have tried both of these), I am UNABLE to switch off these packetel.com announcements, touting me to "Try Packetel Voice Service," "Receive Faxes in Adobe PDF Format," "Automatic Payment Option," pay "Paypal Now," "Refer a Friend," and all their details. ITS VERY VERY ANNOYING, especially when its eating my bandwidth on my mobile service when traveling. Furthermore, the advertisements are very blaring -- varying big fonts, bold fonts, colors, annoying to the eyes when you are trying to download your fax.
Suggestion to Packetel.com (trust me I have spokened to them),
- let users have the ability to switch off these announcements
- or limit your advertisement to just one item and rotate the messages.
Below is a sample of their advertisement each time you get the mail. (unable to replicate the font sizes and colors here). Would you not find the following annoying??
